Important Things to Remember
- You may enter the U.S. no more than 30 days prior to the starting date noted on the
I-20 form. If 你 try to enter the U.S. more than 30 days before this starting date,
你 may not be permitted to enter the U.S.
- Pay particular attention to the starting date noted on 你r I-20 form, as 你 must
enter the U.S. by this date. If 你 cannot enter the U.S. by this date, please get
in touch with ISSO to discuss changing 你r start date. Late arrivals will not be
permitted.
- The expiration date on 你r visa may not match the end date of 你r degree program. If 你r visa expires before 你 complete 你r degree program, 你 will apply for a new visa on 你r first trip outside the U.S. after 你r current visa expires.
